  • 3 Tbsp tamarind paste
  • 10 dates soaked in 1/2 cup hot water
  • salt pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder

INSTRUCTIONS


INSTRUCTIONS


1. In saucepan heat the water and dates until soft about 5 minutes or so and turn off the heat. Add the cumin powder and tamarind and mash into a paste with a hand blender. Serve in a bowl or store in the fridge for upto 5 days.
