Ayurveda a Holistic Practice
Being as an Ayurvedic practitioner (AP) holistic healing is the way to use my skills combined as an intuitive guide, yoga teacher, functional nutritionist, herbalist and plant based chef. The two year training exceeds 1860h of Ayurvedic and Yogic philosophy and two years of studying major diseases and their treatment options, includes clinical training, Sanskrit and anatomy and physiology. Ayurveda provides a comprehensive view of the causes of disease which are due to the external causes or internal causes.
Classical sources and western illumination
Although Ayurveda has been practised widely in the India subcontinent by more than 90 percent of the people for thousands of years. The tradition has only recently gained the popularity along with the growth of yoga in the western world. Though Ayurveda is still considered an alternative medical system it has flourished in the west were the alternative is most needed. Most recently there is a high demand for those who have trained at a professional level as an Ayurvedic practitioners (AP).
What happens in session?
You will get asked to provide your health history and a list of current complaints. You will be ask your health care provider if you should work with someone in the alternative field to provide additional support for chronic conditions so we can provide you with the best care. All ayurvedic consultations will last over 60 minutes as we ask questions to find out what level of care you need at this current moment. Ayurveda takes into consideration the time of life you are in, the season of the year and how that impacts on your unique physiology. This unique approach will help your healing process based on the Ayurvedic prakriti (constitution)/ vikriti (imbalance)paradigm and the Ayurvedic definition of true health. My personal teachers have been predominantly Western and so the scope of practise uses many western herbs along with the ones you can find only in India. In our session you can expect to be educated, motivated and counselled in order to support your successful fulfilment of the principles of Āyurveda into a western lifestyle. I make it my mission to listen, and to assists each patience individual needs to help them create a life design they truly can feel their best.
Like Ayurvedic doctors the Ayurvedic practitioner, is proficient at recommending pacification therapies to balance the physiology, eliminate toxins and recommend tonification for the body and mind. By implementing, demonstrating, instructing and guiding you to the right recommended yogic therapy for each nature. Using the Ayurvedic model of healthcare philosophy, which is based in preventive healthcare we identify the root causes of disease by bringing the body back to homeostasis. We do this by promoting a healthy digestion by using proper diet and lifestyle, panchakarma, pranayama and herbs we bring the body and mind back to harmony and balance. Connecting more, listening, developing a deep sense of balance within the body and mind. Sensing the roles of intuition and the way grace, transforms. You start to notice a subtle love and care from within which generates ripples which flow back to the Self.
What happens after the session?
In this text the sutra it suggests that on this journey of the Self, no one else is going to be doing the work for you. No one is going to be the change that we need. We are the ones we have been waiting for and the heroes of our own journey. We can change our world with our hearts, with our attention and our love. You will be given a plan to follow along with a herbal plan, stress reduction practise, exercise and suggested diet throughout a course of three months or six months we will carry out the plan.
You also have unlimited access by text and email to me if you get confused about the meals you should be eating or have any questions that arise when you are making the right choices for your-Self. No doubt your loved ones will notice and they start to evolve with you. As you radiate more love, so you can show up for them in the way that shines love. which is a far cry from fear, self loathing or self-harm. Because it has been shown that those that are active participants in their own health care get better and stay well.

By making blooming Self-care rituals, robust habits you will find the ways to manage your day. So that in the long run it promotes and maintains ease of living.

Really meaningful changes for a healthy body mind and soul connection start to happen. Our session includes counseling that addresses challenging issues that lead to stress, as we work towards reclaiming greater alignment.
