INGREDIENTS

INGREDIENTS

  • - 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • - 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • - 1 tablespoon chia seeds the tiny powerhouses of nutrition
  • - 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds because every recipe needs a little something "pumpkin"
  • - 3/4 cup almond milk to bring it all together in creamy harmony
  • - A pinch of cardamom powder for a dash of exotic flavour
  • - 1 teaspoon date syrup optional, but totally worth it if you have a sweet tooth

INSTRUCTIONS

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Grab a mixing bowl and add in the almonds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, and pumpkin seeds. Give 'em a good toss, just like a chef tossing a salad with flair.

2. Pour in the almond milk and watch as the magic happens. The seeds will start to soak up the milk, creating a thick and creamy texture. It's like turning plain oatmeal into a symphony of flavours!

3. Sprinkle in a pinch of cardamom powder. Not only does it add a delightful aroma, but it also adds a touch of warmth to your morning digestion. It's like a cozy blanket for your taste buds.

4. If you're feeling a bit indulgent, drizzle in a teaspoon of date syrup. It's nature's sweet nectar, adding a natural sweetness to the porridge.

5. Give everything a good stir, making sure all the ingredients are well combined. Imagine you're a master chef creating a culinary masterpiece. Look at you go!

6. Cover the bowl and pop it in the fridge overnight. This is where the magic truly happens. As you sleep, the flavours mingle, and the seeds become soft and plump, creating a breakfast that's ready to be devoured in the morning.

7. Wake up to a bowl of Bircher's Porridge that's bursting with nutty goodness. Grab a spoon and dig in! You can enjoy it as is or get creative with toppings like fresh mango or blueberries, a sprinkle of coconut, or even a dollop of yoghurt. The choice is yours, dear friend!
