These gorgeous cookies are healthy, light and crunchy with a bite. The combination of chocolate with turmeric is a modish combination with a cardamon latte.⁠

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 .5 cup Oats⁠
  • 1 tsp turmeric⁠
  • .5 – 1 tsp black pepper⁠
  • .5 tsp salt⁠
  • 2 tsp baking powder⁠
  • 1/3 cup coconut sugar⁠
  • 1/3 cup ghee melted⁠
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup⁠
  • 70 g dark chocolate bar 75% or more cut into pieces.⁠

1. Turn on the oven to 170 degrees. Line the baking tray with parchment paper.

2. Pulse the oats in the blender until they make a coarse flour.⁠

3. Add the oats in a bowl, then mix in the turmeric, black pepper, baking powder, salt and coconut sugar and give it all a stir together making sure the sugar has no lumps.⁠

4. Next up add in the maple syrup, ghee, and chocolate and stir into a firm dough with a spatular.⁠

5. Use a teaspoon to scoop out the dough into your hand. Make into tight dough ball and place on the baking tray about 4 cm apart from each other. Bake for 13-15 minutes.
